Toshiba FOLIO 100 Enters the Android-Based Tablet Arena

Everybody knew that it’s just a matter of time before Toshiba would enter the fray between Android-based tablet computers – and that time just happens to be just now. Toshiba had just introduced the FOLIO 100, its upcoming and first media tablet that runs on an Android 2.2 (Froyo) operating system.
The 10.1 in. personal tablet computer is designed for geeks and ordinary people alike looking for completely portable and flexible gadget that is always ready to help them make the most of their digital life. The FOLIO 100 supports an extensive range of apps and services dedicated to entertainment, web browsing and social networking, and multimedia experience. Some of those applications come pre-installed like Opera Mobile, FBReader e-reader, Document To Go office suite, Evernote, Adobe Flash 10.1 and Fring webcam app. Besides the Android platform, Toshiba also added a highly intuitive graphical interface to make the new device easier and more fun to use.
The new Toshiba FOLIO 100 may merely measure 14mm thick and weigh only 760g but it still packs a punch – thanks to its powerful and energy efficient Nvidia Tegra 2 processor.
